Vignale di Cecilia is an organically farmed small farm in the Euganean Hills in Veneto, which has been operating since 1998. It is located in Baone, just below Monte Cecilia, and was founded by the young winemaker Paolo Brunello. It is an artisanal (15,000 bottles) and naturally made expression of Glera from the region with bright pear notes on the nose and the perlage is gentle and coaxes more fruit out on the steely, mineral, and earth-driven palate. Dry, light-bodied, should be served very chilled, and it’s so delicious for social gatherings as an aperitive, with mild soft cheeses, almonds and hezelnuts.
